Westbury Park, Bluffton SC


Composed of 270 single family detached homes on patio lots and 79 attached townhouses on two rows, this community with two electric gated entrances has landscaped parks, a shady playground, a community pavilion with a kitchen and a fitness center, and swimming and wading pools. Sidewalks with old-fashioned torch style streetlamps line both sides of each broad street. Townhomes and some of the detached homes have alleyway parking in addition to street-front parking. Many residences have detached garages, some with finished rooms above. (Community covenants permit rental of these suites as apartments.) POA dues  include front yard lawn maintenance and overnight security patrols, in addition to common amenities maintenance.Just outside the front gate, there is a commercial center with banks, medical offices, and other businesses, with frontage along Highway 278 eastward from the highway intersection with Buck Island Road. About 6 miles from Hilton Head Island, Westbury Park is also convenient to shopping, with several large retail centers nearby, and it is close to the Bluffton public schools campus as well as several private schools.
